Anyone know anything about this band or where I can get any of their records? I heard one track of theirs "Holiday in Baghdad" on a surfing DVD and loved it but I can't find any info on them at all.

The music is kind of downtempo trip-hop with Mexican/Spanish guitar riffs. I believe the band is Australian...if that helps!

    Michael.

Michael, perhaps you should have been down at Mybar on the 10th...

You would think in these days of the interweb thingy, that any self-respecting young band would be promoting themseves big-style, especially with an album to launch. It is Oz, mind.

Thanks for that rod - where you there? I've since found out that their label is Niche Records but their's precious little info there. I've e-mailed them. Might have to get a friend in Oz to buy the CD for me...

Nah! No such luck. Freezing my bits off in SW Scotland. The thought of lazing about in Oz really appeals at the moment.

Google is my friend though... ;-)
