Time article on recording levels

    I also heard the Stereophonics having done there Sgt. Pepper outro track, acclaim the analogue 40 year old recording equipment they used and the fact they had to jam as a band and get the sound right, the right way.
    The info text strip on the BBC prog said Mark Knopfler owns that equipment.
    Nice to see it being done that way again.

    You can see the Sgt. Pepper recordings on the Freeview red button channels or 301 all week I believe.

    Perhaps if the band demand better music and so do we the paying customers, we may get it.

    I have many newer CD's where the vol is high and guess what - they sound crap.
    The older 80's CD's are all fine!!!

    I want my money back - some chance.
