I don't post very offten any more having deceided to spend my time listening to rather than talking about music and systems, but after a recent experiance I though I should share this information with you all. I'm sure there must be many people with the same sort of problems I've just had.
I have just recently had a bit of a problem with my ageing 250's and my equally 27 year and a bit tired now old Sondek :( Of course the 250's were sorted by Daniel of "Class A" and now sound superb :D But I was unsure how to get the same sort of result for my Sondek. So time browsing the Internet proved to be the answer. luckily I came across a small company run by enthusiasts who specialise in servicing, repairing and upgrading Linn sondecks. I was very surprised when I contacted them and I was given some very good advice, and more importantly to me, was that it was very freely given even though they did not know if I would end up as a customer or not, I have now ended up with a system sounding as it should and with a upgrade of my equally old ATOC9 to A re tipped Trioka on the cards as well. I'm just waiting for Simon to get it back from Expert stylus company to complete my service and upgrade. So if any one out there needs a service or a upgrade for their Sondek or even just a bit of advice, I can very highly recommend this little gem of a company

By the way, I have nothing to do with the Company or the owners, just a very well satisfied customer

    Hi

I assume you mean Darren of the "Class A" in Sheffield. He's a personal friend and a fine chap.

Yes sorry, Darren, as my user name suggests I'm getting a bit past it now, just put it down to a senior moment.
