I made my first set of DIY interconnects a while ago following the "Hammerhead" design from the EvilDonut site, basically good copper coax & plugs from maplins. I was sufficiently pleased with these to sell my Cambridge Audio Pacific i/c's.

As i've got a bit of CT100 satellite cable lying around I thought I'd have a go at the U-byte interconnects from the TNT site http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/diyce2.html this uses the central conductor and foil shield of the cable.

Has anyone made these ? how do they compare to others ?

What plugs would be suitable ?
