    Mr Cat

It sounds worse than it is. My m in l is a fantastic cook, doesn't speak a word of english, is a all round lovely woman, will look after the kids and give me reasonable opportunity to slope off to pub. she'll also arrive loaded with vin and cantal.

    Thats the plan!

good to hear from you too - I was v. pleased to see your ad in HF+ - the rest of it was utterly dire of course. stupid reviews, bad writing that smacks quietly of chronic writers block.

i will drop by for a listen sometime - if and when i have the time and the money

If you block avatars and signatures, this forum is actually quite nice.

    Hi Markus,

I like avatars because they permit a bit of personalising, but I wouldn't miss them at all if they were no longer allowed.

The signatures, or at least asking the traders to include their web site in their signatures was an attempt to identify the traders, so that their views could be taken in context. I can see how this can be a mixed blessing though.

I've blocked avatars but I didn't know you could block signatures too. As an aside, I must admit there are one or two other forums I wish I could block avatars on... :(
