With the latest Pulse 2 single box power supply this has to be the electrically quietest line stage available today!

I'd be interested in the power supply if you want to split them?

    PC,

I assume you already have a Vibe line stage?

You cannot just add a Pulse II power supply to an existing Vibe preamp. A Vibe with a 'wall wart' or Pulse two-box power supply would have to be returned to Tom Evans to be adapted for the single box Pulse II power supply. There would no doubt be a significant charge from TEAD for this upgrade work.

Why not buy my current Lithos 7 Vibe/Pulse II and offer your old Vibe for sale?

    Regards

    Steve

My Vibe is only 3 months old and is a Lithos , I know Tom personally and bought it with the standard power supply.
He'd no doubt do the work but your power supply work need to be the right price.
No probs if this is too complicated.

Not complicated, just not much sense in selling my Pulse II power supply without the adapted Vibe line stage!

Why don't you speak to your friend Tom about upgrading your Vibe and standard power supply to Pulse II status? The boost in performance is certainly worth it.

Just out of interest I saw that you up graded to the Pulse 2 about a year ago.

How old exactly is the Vibe and what is the age of the Pulse 2.

Are you the original owner of both of these.

    Many thanks

The Vibe was purchased brand new by me in 2005 and is of the latest Lithos 7 specification. I upgraded to the single box Pulse 2 power supply in May 2008 and this entailed the return of the Vibe to TEAD as there was a modification required to the multi pin power input to allow synchronisation with the new Pulse 2 power supply.

The Vibe was further serviced by TEAD in November 2008 and a brand new DACT attenuator fitted as part of that process (hence the enhanced warranty from Tom Evans until November 2009.

I am the original owner of both Vibe and Pulse 2 power supply.
