    I thought it was sad that he had to go to TV, got me well educated 2 sublime hours on a Friday night, sad loss

    A real shame for sure. Not nearly old enough either. Not in this day and age anyway.

    I grew up listening to the friday night rock show and Tommy Vance had a lot to do with me getting in to music as a kid. So I feel I should honour him with a

    THANK YOU.

    For all the hours of enjoyment and the times I've used music to bring me out of the bad times in my life as a young man. If it wasn't for Tommy Vance and his ethusiasm and love of the music on that show. I would never have been introduced to the positive power that Rock music has been in my life.
