is everyone sorted for tonight. I'm going to get Gazz from the station and then pick Tony L up. Is everyone else coming with Isaac. I'm aiming to be back in by 7.00, so barring disasters all should be fine. I've got your number Isaac unless it's changed, so if there is a disaster I'll ring.
I'm off to Tesco on the way home so I'll bring back some Pizza's. Is anyone vegetarian? I'll make sure they're adequately catered for. Looking forward to hearing some good new music

i've got the nos-dac / i/c / wall wart packed (tesco bag!) and ready to go.

i'll be eating prior to departure.

as i have no idea what the protocols are on these things do guests come bearing gifts - gold, francinsense, MANA?!!, vestial virgins (few and far between in Marsden. Alledgedly!)

 

chris - There won't be a shortage of food...

When I've held or been to bake-off there's not usually gifts, although once there was some beer (cheers Will! :beer: )

I'm bringing the lump that spawned this bake off, my nu vista m3 as want to compare it to Richards valves although after playing with positioning, cables and isolation the copland/mf/esl988 combo is sounding pretty special now (or according to some, my ears have got used to it )

 

If you can find a virgin to sacrifice it always kicks thing off well

 

bummer, just checked, Virgins are out of stock.

i'll pick up some beers........

 

No wonder they've run out, Tesco were running a special offer on virgins - buy one get one free.

There are so many bits being brought by others I'm intending to mostly sit back and listen. I don't think I've got anything spectacular to add (this time round). I'll bring a few CDs and LPs. The amps and NOS dac will make interesting listening. I'll identify my kit when I meet you tonight
