Townsend Isolda is the same cable as Electrfluidics Monolith and Goertz.

They are all about 50 quid a metre plus terminations.

The Isolda has been deep cryogenically treated, so its probably (possibly) slightly better?

Anyway, I have the Goertz... I put ''Isolda'' because not everybody knows that its the same basic cable!!

Well, My Goertz is a 2.5 metre pair, so I guess cost at new would have been about 250 quid.

Its too short for my new speakers so I must sell.

I bent a banana plug, and if you want to use it in the banana sockets you will need to do the doddle easy job of bunging a new one on. I chose to screw tighten the banana plug in the speaker terminal instead which worked for me.

Because it needs a new plug Im selling at the silly price of 90 quid.

If you dont think thats cheap - try and get some cheaper!!!!

    No offers please.
This one should fly out the door.

    Postage and Packing at cost.

It's all in the name Chris. People (esp. here) might go mental for genuine Isolda but turn their noses up at Goertz.

nuts isnt it? I mean, ''Alphacore'' is the company that makes the raw cable, and ''Goertz'' is their own brand!!

If anything 'Isolda' is the copy!!! go figure!

sounds absolutely fine mate. I'll even chuck in P&P FOC.

Only down side is that you'll have to wait up to 2 weeks for the transaction - Im getting my new cables from Japan, and I cant let my only cables go till they come.

Would that cause you any problems?

If its a major issue I'll go and buy some cheap mains flex to use for myself until my new cables come, but I'd rather wait a couple of weeks.. Let me know what you think?

    Cheers
    Chris

Sounds intriguing Chris. What be it (or they)??

FWIW Im having a bit of bother getting a 6' single length of MI2 form Goertz Direct. They're nice people but a bit of hassle !

I doubt that Michael - Chris doesn't come across as overly impressionable ;)

Which is precisely why he'd be able to make an objective judgment that might surprise him ;)

badchamp - its just a budget cable that Joel is selling on Pink Fish.

I needed something cheap because Im going to need 2 x 5m.

Running Gun - are you still okay with the transaction?

Dont be put off by cable banter, theres lots of history of cable supporters vs cable knockers (not any brand just in general) on the forum.

Welcome to Zerogain RG :). If you look at the "feedback" thread in the Buy and Sell forum you can often read comments pertaining to people's experiences of doing business with each other on here, and without having gone all the way through the thread myself I can't imagine anyone's had any problems dealing with bottleneck.
