Hi i have tried finding some info for the require tracking weight of a denon DL160 Cartridge. Not knowing what to set it at i have gone for 2.2 grams.

Is this way off the mark ?

Sounds pretty good to me at that i must say

    Too high Chris.

IIRC the 160 max is 1.8 and the slightly lower compliance 110 is 2.0.

Try it at 1.7 - that's what I used way back and it tracked fine.

Going by memory here but will verify later.

    Hi,

Denon recommend tracking between 1.3g & 1.9g so 1.7 seems a good value to use.

I had mine at 1.8 in an Ittok, 2.2 is way to high.
