    Whats different to the old Reference MKI? I notice the strobes gone.

    you might be pleasantly suprised when these are set up well, I've got an old one and it really does sound very, very good for a 40 year old, and more character than some anonymous plank and frisbee design!. Rewired SME 3009 mk2,and properly isolated and serviced - I like it anyway!. I'm wondering whats changed though, I emailed Michael at Transcriptors but haven't heard anything yet...
