Trick's Kit - Modded Audiolab Amps

    Hi all.

    My kit consists of:

    Audiolab 8000s bi amped with the power section of an 8000a. The 8000a has been modded to have the pre and power sections separated.

    Speakers are Monitor Audio RS6 in rosenut.

    I have an Arcam CD72 but mostly listen to FLACs and MP3s streamed off my network from Winamp.

    The soundcard is an X-Fi Music and wil be connected to a Shek D2 NOSDAC.

    Ha, thanks! I'm a Talisker man but I do enjoy a drop of Laphroaig every now and again.

    I'd never go back to a single screen!

    I'm annoyed that my room only allows for the speakers to be placed pretty close to a dividing wall - I live in the Mess on an RAF base so my options are limited! I'm sure the MA's would sing if they could have a little more isolation, but the port-bungs in the rear ports have helped quite a lot.

    My next plan is to build a flexy Table so the various bits of kit don't have to sit on each other. It'll also free up space for more booze ;)
