(I got this right in 2 seconds flat - instinctively. Be afraid people!)

    Please answer before scrolling down

Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. No one I know has got it right - including me.

A woman while at the funeral of her own mother met this guy who she didn't know. She thought this guy was amazing, her dream guy, she fell in love with him right there but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

    Question:

What is her motive in killing her sister? (Give this some thought
    before you answer) -

    Answer:

She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath.

This was a test by a famous American Psychologist who used it to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.

If you didn't answer the question correctly good for you.

If you got the answer correct, please let me know so I can take you off of my e-mail list.

Oh dear. I think you may have to be very careful not to annoy me.

It is not that difficult. Especially the way you introduced the question. If you watch enough movies you would have guess the story line easily. If only life is so simple as that psychologist believe.

Who is this famous American Psychologist?

I would think what you define a killer. I have seem lots of people who drive after drinking alcohol. Are they pychopath?

What about politicians who commit people sons and daugthers to silly wars for some personally believe and don't seems to shows any guilt later? Are they not the true pychopath?

    Defining "psychopath"

If the number of decapitated bodies in your wardrobe is a value greater than zero, you're probably a psychopath.

OTOH, if you're made of tarmac, and two-wheeled pedalled vehicles ride up and down you, you're definitely a cycle path.

Ah - but what if you chop them up and flush them down the loo, ensuring the drains are regularly cleaned? If Dennis Nillsen had used a bit more common sense he'd still be at it now...

What happens if you get walked all over all the time - does that make you a footpath?? :)

Psychopaths have no comprehension of other people's feelings.

I've come across two of them on this forum. You both know who you are, gents.

I came up with the answer in about 2 or 3 seconds. It is just plain common sense if you try to anticipate the thoughts and actions of others. It has nothing to do with being a pyschopath.

You could say a good poker player needs the ability to prejudge others and they are not psychopaths.

    Regards

    Mick

Bub, don't you think you're going a bit overboard on this? There's a difference between someone who you don't get along with and a psychopath. Or are you ICD 10-serious about this?

Well, it's impossible to be totally sure without performing extensive investigations, but from what I know about the two individuals, I think it is extremely likely that they both have a personality disorder, and both display strong sociopathic tendencies.

So yes, I am serious, if not 100% certain!

Perhaps it would be better if you kept your theories to yourself. I dont think we really need to know.

Actually, I'm surprised James speaks of just two members.

I reckoned her sister had started dating the guy, and that the sister was her twin. Thus by killing the sister, she gets the guy.

Guess that makes me a psychopath with too much imagination.

That's EXACTLY what Lhatkins' wife thought! I came up with that theory after the "real" answer, and the one of her having a weird fear of churches that could only be overcome by having to go to a family event in one; a bit of a bummer since the bloke she liked was the vicar...

I've no idea who the "famous psychologist" was - the email I got is basically exactly what you see here (barring the headers obviously).

You're right Mick - it IS common sense if you have the right kind of mind, but it seems most of my mates got a different answer to me - he he!

Paul - I've often wandered whether it's possible to urinate/defecate down a headless body's throat - I don't think it would be easy - surely the throut'd cave in due to no muscle power, or tissue trauma from the beheading. Grim. I got this image in an email (I've cropped it a bit) - gets you thinking on this grim topic - auto-beheading! (the dude was running from the Police, jumped over the wall of the freeway and, oops!)

EDIT (by michaelab): Dom, sorry - had to delete the attachment. If you must post images like that at least use a link and warn people. Having said that I doubt if it's a real image, looks faked to me but either way, pretty gross.
