This landed on my doorstep the other day and is spinning as we speak.

Basically an UNKLE mix cd but it was the variety oof tracks compiled that caught my attention.

We have such classics as ....

    Get Ready - Rare Earth
Feel Good Hit Of The Summer - Queens Of The Stone Age
    Star Wars Theme [Obscure Version]
Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles [Unklesounds Edit]
Breaking the Girl - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Last Dance (And I Come Again) / Sympathy For The Devil - Superfunk/Rolling Stones [Eric Morillo Dub]
Blade Runner Theme - Vangelis [Unknown Remix]
    Nightclubbing - Iggy Pop
Dream On - Depeche Mode [Bushwacka! Blunt Mix]
Everything In Its Right Place - Radiohead [Unklesounds Edit]
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac [Unklesounds Edit]

...all being given the UNKLE [re]mix treatment.

    It's a 3CD set, with a total of 48 tracks.
I refer to them as tracks because in fact there is only one track on each of the discs  . Bastards , so if I want to listen to a specific song, I have to ffwd instead of just skipping to it :(.

From what I've heard so far, it's pretty good.

Yup - I opted for the 3 disc set as there were repetitions with the other one but this had mOre :D .

I never realised it was a limited release but the artwork does mention "For promOtional use only", purely as a design aesthetic I think  .

    It is very good though.

Psyence Fiction had a "proper" release and you should be able to get it in any/MOst shops.

    Penance - it's quality :D .

You have to hear the UNKLE Remix of "The Chain", by Fleetwood Mac.

    Nice one Bill!

Someone mentioned this to me ages ago. I'm sure when I tried looking for it, I couldn't find it for less than £15 or so!

Think I'll have one of them too! :)
