    Hi guys!

I want to get some active speakers from the US. But it just occourd to me they will be set to 110V. (Thats US voltage right?) So if they don't have a switch on them to change to 220V what is the best way to power them? Each speakers needs 200Watts.

    Cheers,

    Tenson,

    I'd run them off a 1KW Den Duncan/Trichord/HFN Powerblock.

You'll get an upgrade at the same time!

You maybe able to change the wiring of the internal transformer,if it has 2 primary windings in parallel rewire them in series

Yes I just talked to PMC and they say all thats needed is to changes a fuse and some resistors. They say they will do it, but I'm sure I can manage if they tell me what to do. I'll wait to see if I actually get them first though! Maplin also has a stepdown transformer to do it but it costs £99 so.. we will see.

Merlin, I allready have a power conditioner, so I don't want to get another just for the speakers!
