For xmas i ordered the new Paul Weller 4 disc album for Kay, on vinyl.
It had scuffs across 2 tracks on side 4.
I informed Amazon and they sent a replacement sharpish, good service there :)

Got replacement thismorning, well this one is even worse.
One is again scuffed, but worse. Another disc is warped badly, kinda frisbee like.
So i think i am going to ask for a refund now.
My question is - is this a problem with Universal recordings or something else?

I've stopped buying vinyl from Amazon, have never had a perfect record from them. Diverse Vinyl are much much better.

I doubt if this has got anything to do with the record company in particular. More likely to be the luck of the draw I'd say.

Have to admit, I very seldom buy vinyl mail order, simply because I can't be hassled with the potential to-ing and fro-ing which would ensue should something substandard turn up.
