My local record shop has Joy Division's Unkown Pleasure on LP for £8. However music zone have it on brand new on CD for £6.

Which one should I go for? I am thinking more alongs the line of the LP. I've found so far all Factory stuff sounds better on LP as the CD's are not usualy the original factory recording but released under London Records or The Centre Dete Ltd.

    Vinyl - stupid :)

My "Still" - at £2 from MVE - might be crackly, but pisses all over the FOPP-bought CD issue (London).

My New Order Substance on Factory CD sounds a lot better than a later version on London I borrowed from the library though - strange but true; the Factory discs were manufactured by Nimbus which helps.

I'd get the vinyl of Unknown Pleasures - I only have it on CD unfortunately... Plus the cover is so cool, it's worth having on vinyl :)

I will probably get it on LP then. I just need to save up some money. (thats how skint I am). Somthings in life though just have to buy no matter how poor you are. Music is one of them.
