it's just possible that i'll end up taking a screw driver to it.

i'm thinking that it's very revealing and that to tonight out of deference to my neighbours that I wouldn't go too crazy, too late. my luck is in as there's a huge party , big rig (quite good),dj just over the back. I'm the least of anyone's worries.

John, just wondered being a new Evo 4 you have, does it have the lastest spec Blue cap's or the older orange one's, I sure I,ve read somewhere
belcano are offering a free retro fit upgrade on this issue

I've taken a pic to show you,but I cannot upload due to file size

actually i'm not sure it's the 2, i think it might be the one. either way free upgrade sounds good and if it's not possible no matter. My phono stage just arrived so i'm spinning coleman/metheny song x and very good it sounds too although it'll sound better in a few days - also booked the day of work

    John,

on the back panel it will say Generation II, The so called 'upgrade' was due to a possible fault that may occur, with the last section of the output stage.
Belcanto offer a free rejig, though It has to go back to B/C I believe, else Anvil Audio maybe able to do it???
If you decide to keep it, and get blaise' with it a few months, I can give you a listen to an Evolution version

It is surposed to give an Audiable upgrade :) I haven't heard one against the other so can't comment. Have you got the speaker cables in the correct configuration for bridging?, outer left is +/ve inner right is -/ve (left hand channel) and reversed for the right (it is marked on the terminals), if your running single ended then both buttons pushed in on each module, makes a serious difference.
You best be careful John, you'll be looking for a new cart next :)
