Valve dealer needed

Could someone point me in the direction of a reputable valve dealer?

It looks like I need a replacement 6H30 for my CDP, the Electro Harmonix has been suggested as the one to go for by Alium Audio.

why don't you order it online and just drop it in? these russian valves are all the same anyway soundwise....

 

Yep, that's what I'm after, an online Valve dealer.

Is ordering from Russia recommended, or should I stick to Western shores....?

I bought a dozen valves from a Russian dealer through Ebay with no problems at all. They were extremely well padded-good price too.

From eBay I've bought various NOS valves from the US without hiccup various Russian valves from various Eastern European countries (Latvia, Poland, etc) also without hiccup.

jacaudio are brilliant - their site is a wealth of information as well as being reasonable in terms of cost. A few myths can be laid to rest by reading there!

 

Got myself a replacement 6H30 directly from Alium after they checked their stock for me.
