verve esq

    Been playing some verve tonight, and it sounds the nuts! Plus some stone roses too. Anything else out there which is verve esq? I need more.... :MILD:

    If you like the Verve why not try Richard Ashcrofts (lead singer of The Verve) solo stuff. Human Conditions is the only album of his that I have - but it's one of my favourites, so I would highly recommend it.

    yeah, I'm a fan of the verve - have been since the eraly 90's - seen them twice when they supported the smashing pumpkins around 90-91, one at the newcastle riverside and then at the mayfair...

    for me their best album is no come down -

    I'm sure that some of the other ex-verve guys formed another band, I have their stuff, but their name escapes me just now...

    no come down is great - lots of accoustic stuff...

    as for the shining....Hmmm....nothing special, but to be honest - I haven't heard it for ages!
