    A QED DIgit or Similar - Remember a a retailer
    had some old new stock for £45 - anyone remember which one?

    Alternaitvely does anyone have a old DAC that would
    Suit my trichord transport for under £100

    I want to concentrate on vinyl. I have sold my quite expensive DAC - and want money for a phono stage. The less I spend on the on the dac - the more I have for the on the phono stage.

    Hi Andy

    I have a MHDT Labs Dac that I seldom use, Its yours for £85 delivered.

    TonyL or Lordsummit of this and other places have it on loan at the moment but if you fancy it just let me know.

    but If Im buying it blind please can you state

    what MHDT labs model is it?
    what inputs and outputs has it
    what condition is it in

    Beresford TC 7510, if you wander over to Hifi wigam forum, theres something like 17 pages on it, with the biggest percentage (me included) extolling its virtues! For a modest price, which is the kind of price you are looking at, its a steal.
    In fact one guy who has had some very high priced units, has compared it favourably to them!

    how about a cambridge audio dacmagic 2... can probably be had on ebay for £30 if you try. Decent bit of kit for what it is.
