Very unfair moderating

I have just noticed that the Avondale email thread has been closed, primarily because Barnie retorted to an unproven allegation. He was not mentioned by name but everyone knows that the allegation was directed at him and he has the right to refute it.

Barnie was damned if he replied and damned if he did not.

The person who made the allegation has been seen to have got off scott free whilst Barnie has got it in the neck.

This is bloody poor moderating. The posting which made the allegation should have been wiped out asap.

I must confess that the sense of fair play went right out of the window on this occassion.

Mick, I'll let your post stay, you're entitled to voice your opinion but I'm not prepared to have a discussion about it so I've closed this thread.

Needless to say I disagree entirely with your assessment.

In future, if you have an issue with the way the forum is moderated please use the PM system. Forum meta-discussions about moderation invariably end up becoming antagonistic and unconstructive.
