Heaven 17 - Penthouse and Pavement - vg/nm - £2 (yes it has "we don't need that fascist groove thang" on it and that works best as a 12-inch snorting poppers in a gay nightclub)

If you can bear to get without...
    Pretenders - Pretenders - vg/vg £2 (blistering debut)
    Pretenders - Pretenders II - £2

    Thanks

Hi again. Could I have these ones, too, please:

Bruford - Gradually Going Tornado - £1.50 - NM/M *very* hard to find early Bruford release. Epic drumming as always.

Deep Purple - Made in Japan - VG/M DBL (Purple label/UK pressing TPSP351) £3 (this is almost extreme noise terror, but the long hair and tight jeans are a turn off)

Tim Hutton - Everything - M/M (with liner) - £1 Immediately catchy with its easygoing rhythm and vocal insistence on romantic idiocy -- very much one for David Gray types.

    REM - Murmur - £1.20 m/m

    Santana - Abraxas - m/m £2

If the others have already been sent could you start me a new pile?

Whats that Sky lot about? I have two Lps by a band called Sky, one is a Scottish band who play Eathereal sounding world music. The other is Country and Western **** bought by mistake. Which are yours or is there a third band called Sky? Perhaps you could describe the musical content lol

    Cheers

IIRC Sky was John Williams guitar, classical percussionist Tristran Fry and session players Herbie Flowers and Francis Monkman - a kind of late 70s instrumental prog-rock / fusion kind of thing. Sky never really fitted with the mood of the moment as they arrived on the scene at the same time as punk.

They sold lots of albums though. Sky 2 got to number 1 in the albums chart and Sky 3 to number 3. Don't confuse credibility with popularity!

Tristan Fry is the percussionist on the legendary 70s audiophool LP ‘Music For Percussion Volume One’ on Gale Records, 4 tracks of classical drum hitting conducted by J E Gardner. Excellent stuff. Herbie Flowers played bass for late period T. Rex and I think was the bassist when I saw them in 76 (my first gig).

Flowers played bass on Walk on the Wild Side. That's good enough for me to like him.

Chezi glad you liked the records. I got a fair amount of the years as parts of lots so yes indeed many have not been played. I said I had erred onthe side of caution with grading ;)

Now I will get off foxes sale haha.
