Vinyl played through a dac!

    A friend of mine is using it with his MM cart, tonearm leads straight into the Model 5, he has set his own RIAA curve and at the moment is about to creats digital crossovers for his speakers!
    It is an incredibly versatile bit of kit, you can select volume and inputs remotely a modern preamp and so much more!

    I have been using this method for the last 3 years or more. As Keith says it is incredibly versatile.

    My own purpose mainly was for transcribing 78rpm records which are not able to be played correctly without such equipment, since they do not have riaa standard eq, but every manufacturer had their own eq curves.

    The benfits of this method for record eq, and also the same principle applied to electronic loudspeaker crossovers are absolutely overwhelming.
