    Too true - thank god I got dragged out of there in 1977 - at 15 months :) Uuuugh. Nice to visit but sooooo far off the beaten track, it's a wonder they have air there, let alone electricity and roads.

    The only reason people don't leave Cornwall more is that, in most cases, they'd have to drive through Plymouth. Yuk.

    And no, I didn't put any smileys there. Plymouth sucks, and Cornwall's, well, err, Cornwall. Newquay's OK (even out of season) and the views are pretty, but once that veneer's been breached, there's nothing else there.

    Dewdneys are indeed damn fine pasties though - forget Mingsters :)

    personally a smallholding on the welsh, cornish or devon coast is my dream place. no fecker about for miles. you can play your music as loud and as late as you want. and if anyone messes with you you just tony martin his arse and feed him to the pigs bricktop style. bliss.
    not practical for me at present what with being a single dad, but later when the nest is empty.....
