    Hi.

I'm looking to wall MOunt some speakers.

Can anyone suggest a good set or brackets? Also, I'd rather not have to drill and screw the speakers to them, so how best to make sure they stay in place?

    Cheers

    MO :)

In a previous bedroom I made some heavy duty 4" thick by 1 foot square shelves to place speakers on. I used 5" bolts to mount the shelf to a solid brick wall. As long as they're very strong and you place blutak between the cabinet and shelf it should be ok.

Failing that how about a portable tv mount from argos?!

    IMO...wall mounting

It normally means tipping the sound field ie the speakers point down at an angle.

But if you have no room etc

Richer sound do the gale swb2u at £19.99....

thats going to be hard to beat.

It's for my brothers new bedroom set up. The speakers will likely be at the same height they'd be on stands.

For one speaker, it's a case of saving floor space, and for the other he has stuff underneath where the speaker will be, so the floor space where a stand would be isn't available.

There seems to be a few on ebay going for less than £10, hard to judge how sturdy they are though.

Some good sturdy shelves are quite possible.

    Cheers.
