    Linaeum Project

    Hi Rob
Just a word of caution. I bought (and sold) two of these units from Wilmslow Audio to upgrade a pair of Optimus LX5 loudspeakers. Although the cones were almost a straight swap in job (screw holes fractionally out, but manageable) I made no crossover changes.
Without these mods I lost all bass below about 250Hz (the SEAS units really are a midrange driver).
If you are following the Wallin article it did not seem to be very useful - especially as there was no way I could find contact details to ask questions of the author. From what I had read, the swap without the crossover changes should have produced something useable.
So I gave up and sold the units at a big loss ! They cost just over £80 the pair last year.
