    Hi

May (probably) sound daft, but where's Warwickshire? Is it the same place as Warwick - which my limited knowledge tells me is somewhere in the midlands.

A s/h product i'm interested in is being advertised with the seller in Warwickshire, and I'd obviously prefer to check it and collect (train styléééé) than post it blind.

    Cheers

    Yours

    :D

So, erm, what's the difference between warwick and warwickshire?

If someone's saying they're in warwickshire, would it be safe to assume that getting a train to warwick will have me within reasonable distance of them?

Warwickshire is a county, Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire.

Warwick University is in Coventry. That probably doesn't help, but it's true.

Rugby's in Warwickshire as well. So's Stratford Upon Avon. And Nuneaton.

It's a big subject, you know (and a reasonably big county). Get a map reference before you set out.

Newport to warwick = about 3 hours train each way!

Guess I'll probably be better off chancing this on the post. Nothing too expensive, but would you trust the postal service with a tt?

Hmmm..... going on my recent experience with the buggers, I wouldn't trust the Royal Mail to deliver a brick. If you're going to get the TT mailed to you try and get some sort of insurance on it. I take it you've managed to track down a TT for your brother?
