Richers are doing them at £50 (the 9.0 model) and my Eltaxs are getting tired now. I rarely use the speakers (I am a headphone person) I don't want to spend too much replacing them.

    I have:-
A Marantz CD6000 OSE LE cd player
    Cambridge Azure 640A Amplifer
Project Debut II turntable with an OM10SE cartridge
    M Audio audiophile sound card
    Decent cables

Would the 9.0s be a good match for my system? It is a small room so I thought the size would be ideal, I am just a tad worried my amp may be a little over powered although its better that way round that under powered.

As i understand it the 9.0 while perfectly aceptable are a little lacking. Where as the 9.1's are very good as well as great value.

Certainly ive just bought a pair of 9.1's based on this and although ive not had time to full review them am very happy so far.
