http://www.hifiplus.org/forum was setup Christmas time last year. It had great expectations. Got off the ground with enthusiastic support with many quality posts.
But it seems to have gone very quite there now.

    What's Up?!

There isn't room for many HIFI forums especialy as its a dying hobby. This site is probably just better.

Well the vast majority seem more into TVs and home cinema systems than HIFI these days :JOEL:

I hooked up digital outputs of the FreeView tuner and DVD player to the hi-fi system through a DAC. Sound is amazing.

Increasing the use of the hi-fi system this way mean that it is now better value.

Don't think I will take the multi channel surround sound route though. Too many speakers and wires.

Same here, I only have a two channel system, my freeview box and DVD is hooked up to it as well, I don't have a sub woofer and I have cheapo £70 Eltax speakers but the bass is still ten times better than you get on those cheap supermarket home cinema packages.

I only have two ears so two channels will always be enough. If I was rich and had the room then I would have a seperate 5.1 cinema system though.

A new forum set up by some HFC members who are frustrated by the sometimes amazing slowness of HFC.
