And he's using keyword spamming (putting "Ferguson CD player not Meridian Linn" in the title of the item) which is a strict no-no for eBay. As if someone looking for Meridian or Linn stuff would want that item

WOW! That's a bit of a leap! A bit like if WM was to trade in his boom box for some proper kit, say some top quality MF! Huge leap in performance! :moony:

Mean while back in real land, to quote a famous phase 'That'll be the day' , listen to newer m/f gear is like having to wipe your arse with Izal (medicated sandpaper) both of which have the same grimace factor , but made for out house door stops, and with glowing feet you could find the shit house on these dark nights, wow A/M what a genius :) Wm

'One of the best quality cassette decks ever made'

    erm.......:D :D

well, if it is, then its been kept a secret all these years.

What's more impressive, is that it appears to have survived being run over by a truck, which incidentally, it would thoroughly deserve on account of those hideous 80s style controls alone.

Come on cookie, those are "flat easy to clean controls" :D

    What about this bit though:
"For connection to a digital amplifier (IDE cable included)" WTF???

They had Izal in my halls of residence. I reckon it was to save money because we all bought our own Andrex.
Tell you what though that is some tape deck though, I'm quite tempted £55 sounds very reasonable

That cassete deck looks like it was from an all in one system that was probably connected via a ribbon cable. He is probably getting mixed up and wrongly calling a ribbon cable an IDE cable ( I know an IDE cable is a ribbon cable but a ribbon cable is not an IDE cable)

Silly people. Or maybe you could use it as a 330k hard drive!:D
