I wouldnt recommend going pubbing/clubbing on them though. I've tried this, and I didnt think it was particularly nice, and I am experienced with them and like them. Good for festivals and other outdoor events, but not so keen on pubbing with shrooms / acid.

The speeds a good one, I had some again last weekend for the first time in a fair while, and it certainly was a giggle :D

Lol it wans't a folk club, it was a pub that happend to have folk bands playing... ok that sounds worse. The irish club is a very good local music venue, its not like an irish pub. Most the clientel at my local irish club on firday nights are under 30.
I will have to try deansgate locks again some time I but I can usualy never get in. The printworks has some decent venues too but most my mates won't be seen dead in places like that.

I used to love 5th Avenue but lately its gone really down hill, its always too busy, I like 42nd Street and the Brick House but I think I went so often I just got bored of the same stuff all the time, thats how we ended up going to these folk pubs as an alternative.

We are supposed to be just staying in my local area on saturday but I fancy going to town so I might not suggest this till the night, get him pissed then he is more likely to want to go. If its unplanned he is more likely to enjoy it.

I did go Lloret Del Marr for 3 nights when we went to Barcelona in the summer. I guess thats nothing like Ibiza but I found the clubs sh*t I don't like RnB and thats all it is there. I suppose Ibiza is different because thats more dance oriented.

The best nights are allways the ones that you don't plan too much to be honest. Ideally i like a good dose of pre drinks at home or at a cheap pub/bar with some good friends. Then out to a club, to be frank to enjoy a nightclub i need to be quite pissed. good music helps get you in the mood, sadly most around here seem to be RnB crap. The other vital ingreedient of course is plenty of women.

Can see your point though, went to a club tonight and just wasnt in the mood, should have never gone. Wasted money, still they'll be plenty of other nights.....

The spur of the moment and excess is allways good.........

Try something different, get out with a different group of people if possible
