Whats happening to pf??

    Perhaps the server is being backed up?, which normally happens during the early hours in the US where the server is hosted. That normally slows it down.

    Sorry folks - it's been particularly bad today. I am (still) in discussion with the hosting company as to how best to sort it out. I'll get there in the end. The core issue is that the server is in the US so the hosting company's 4-6:00am maintenance window corresponds to pfm's lunchtime peak usage, i.e. they often take the MySQL sever off line or otherwise fiddle with it at exactly the time where it doesn't suit us.
