I've never really heard any of his music before, but I've just finished a few days of listening to Jesse Cook's "Vertigo". This is one of the most beguiling works of art I have ever heard. An absolutely incredibly recorded mix of spanish(?) guitar, arabian melodies, and crisp drums. And space. And vibrant emotion. Some humor. A lot of superb guitar playing. And music. The third track Cancion Triste throws a cello into the mix, and wow does it throw. You feel that thing rolling around your head straight through your eardrums. This is what my sistem is for. ~ ~ Dave PS: There are one or two duffers on the album, but the others so overpower these it's hardly even worth the PS :)
