Really beautiful. It's interesting to read that the piece is a canon. Hopefully someone will create a visualization so it's possible to better understand what's going on with the lines and how they relate to each other.

I like the Kyrie, especially the fugal-like part near the beginning with its austere subject.

Now I know where Kylie Monogue got her production ideas from, or is it the reverse?

From the ridiculous to the sublime?
Usually I don’t enjoy watching conductors but I love watching this one (name?),
    Certainly the results are spectacular.

Somehow the usual Youtube compression doesn’t totally mangle the tonal richness here at it too often does.
Flautists are usually somewhat prosaic in their expressions, not this one !

At the top of my list of works I can’t live without are Beethoven’s late quartets.
Can’t find my favourite recordings by the Fine Arts Quartet on the web anywhere.
I have the 50year old LPs and recent CD versions. The LP’s are way superior in tonal richness and microdynamic contrasts on my system.
Anyhow, here’s what a lot of even classical music lovers describe as ‘difficult music’ this time with the Berg quartet..
