well, a consensus of three - looking good so far.

I guess any branded made up cable seems to exclude itself, though I don't see why they should.

So, decent cable, decent plugs, someone who is prepared to put the two together for a reasonable margin (to be fair if the e-bay stuff were retail it would be £20 - £30) and you have a sensible interconnect.

Am I right that the twin is copper only while the singles are copper/silver plated copper mix?

I believe that to be the case yes. I've not played with the copper and silver thing, never felt the need to, I like to keep things simple:eek:!

Hmmmm, well I'm sure i'd seen folks on ebay advertising those singles with silver in them too:confused:

Oh well..... the plain vanilla simple 'Ultra Pure Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper' sound decent to me. You pays your money you takes your choice;)

sorry yes, the singles is copper and silver plated copper, it was the ultra linear bit in the twin that caught my eye. As far as I can see your plain vanilla (ie twin) is actually a couple of quid more than the singles (£12.50 for a metre pair as opposed to £10.50)

    The thieving bastards!
You really want to be careful throwing around that kind of money-are you sure you want to go that far?
You'll be getting a visit from the cables police telling you you're deluded in thinking you can actually buy a 'better' cable than freebee cord:)

I have two sets of Twin one with Bullet plugs one without, these are very smooth and musical and 3 dimensional,l also have a set of 1.5m singles, these are brighter, but musical and 3D,last but not least l have Van Damme black which has had Cryo treatment this one is the most neutral of the lot,but displays most of the other cables traits,it all depends on what sound you are after, they replaced some Red Dawn, but on occasion l will listen to them.
