    Through All This Years Of Having To Listen To A Lot Of Bookshelf Speakers, Only A Few Really Took My Attention, Still , That Is Bookshelf Or Stand Mounted , 99% They All Do Their Job Nicelly, But I Kid You Not, I Came Across A Pair Of Castle Front Satellite Spkrs, Retail For £ 249.00, I Was Absolubtlly ...well In Dismay At How Such A Small Speaker Can Perform Like Any Floor Stander, Staging Is Like This Migets Don't Exist..any One Heard Them ?     why, did they burnt you out of the wig..or maybe colour does make the sound brighter ! people, do like to see a "how should i put it" i know a famous footty manager once said "SEXY FOOTBALL", OOH SEXY BOXES, try to listen to what's about, give everything a chance, p.s. miss you from other forum. nando

    Oh I'm sure its a lovely speaker Nando. My father had some Castle Severn's which I always liked ... never been all that sure about some of the finishes mind, but the "burnt plank of wood out of a bonfire" finish is the most interesting yet ;)

    If the sexiness of the finish was a big issue here, I don't thnk the Yams would have got houseroom tbh.

    hi uncle, they come iin various finishes including antique oak,walnut,rosewood..etc.etc.except yew,shortage of trees i am afraid, forget other forum we do not wear wigs. nando

    I used to own the castle richmonds 3i's. There where a fantastic speaker for the money. The only quibble was a lack of bass which i know have in my castle seven 2's.
