Well you never know, one day I might stop being a chef and turn itno a super audio geezer.

Anyhoo when I am in one of those shows I am gonna make a promise to you visiting guys.

I promise I will never play the man thats so far up his own arse only shos remain, Mr Sting.

Neither will I play the much over hyped and desperatly boring Nora Jones.

Guys I am making that promise to you, because I have my ear to the ground and I realise that this shit is just not on.

Why oh why then did three quarters of the show this weekend have only them two appauling artists, eh?

Yea, I saw a bit of that.

Some of the kit was f**king awful as well.

I guess this is just proof that these forums can never work, all different opinions, and worse product affiliation.

I thought for instance the naim room (budget range) sounded really good, bass a bit flabby but they are still working on them. On the other hand the room with that huge valve jobby that merlin likes I thought was pap.

I thought the chord room was a joke anyone buying this stuff needs a reality check.

I did however like the pioneer room, the one with the single speaker thing. Mind you they want 25k for that. I said to the guy that 3k and people would take it seriously!

The room with the huge see through speakers sounded crap. And by that I mean these things plus the amps and the bass speakers would take up my whole flat, and the sound being produced was thin and poo.

Its a shame AV was being bantered, they should have gone to the What HIFI show instead and left this show to music. I was pleased to see so many record decks. Infact unless I am blinded, I think there was easily the same amont out decks to CDPs.

Could some one give me some info on that clear deck I saw near the naim room. I think its new on the market, not overly ornate, just looked like solid engineering all perspex design. I would like to hear one of these, sorry I don't remember the name though.
