EXACTLY this problem happened to me last christmas when I agreed to buy a lady friend some straighteners for christmas, the only problem was that the brand she wanted was only available from a chic hair salon in Chester. Ok, I thought, a bit of a trek but it will make her happy.....holy effin **** they cost me £120 + travel and parking !!! might still have been worth it if she wasn't now my friends betrothed.....

Funnily enough, I might have some GHD straighteners available for sale Not mine I hasten to add (as anyone who's met me will confirm). My GF (who is a rep for a hair products) apparently is about to replace hers. If anyone's interested let me know.
