Can anyone recommend me a reliable supplier. I've rung around everyone I can find in the Wales > Cheshire corridor, but to no avail. I tried buying one on line from HiFix but they messed me around something rotten and I ended up cancelling the order a month after I'd placed it. A few folks on here have them, so they must be available somewhere! Anyone that does mail order woud do. Cheers. John

Mantra are brilliant, if they've got it in and you order before about 1.30, they'll get it to you next day.

I'm using a new 110 on a RB250 and very happy with it. There's no problem at all with output and I think the figure quoted is conservative. Highly recommended! (on that arm at least).

Thanks to those who recommended it (robert, gromit etc) :)

I seconded Harrow Audio. I phoned to place an order for a Denon DL110, got it within 2 days. Very competitive pricing as well.

The DL110 is a fine cartridge. I was using an Ortofon MC20 Supreme which cost over £500 new. The Denon doesn't disgrace itself. Although not as refined or smooth as the Ortofon, the denon is more dynamic and a very good all rounder.

Search pinkfishmedia forum for Denon cartridge and you will find many good comments about it.

I will add to the top rate service from Mantra, I have an old Denon DP-37F which I use with my PC based system and that has a DL-65 cartridge fitted. Got a replacement stylii for £19 delivered.

Bargain considering the use it will get in ripping my remaining vinyl collection ;)

Good job I was too busy to take your welcome advice. A week after cancelling the HiFix order, a DL110 showed up in my letter box. Just installed it - I think I did it right - certainly very detailed but I'll wait a few days before I start passing judgement. Very slightly lower output than the Rega, but no more than 1 notch on the amp.
