    You can either be;

    PM of GB. £250k PA plus general prime minister benefits such as terrace house and driven company car (warranty no longer included). Working hours average 70 - 80 per week.

    Gaffer at Chelski FC. £5.2 million per yer (a large proportion payed into overseas account) plus bonus scheme of £1 million per competition won. Benefits include free entry to all Chelski games*, free sportswear and free oil. Working hours average 25-30 per week.

    *subject to UEFA, in case of refusal of entry 5 star accomodation will be provided with direct link to a fitness coach**

    **Unless UEFA catch us

    Take your pick.

    that's the basic for the pm, don't forget the expenses, free travel first class, free meals at top restaurants, massive pension package, all paid for by us, job security, teams of advisers telling you what to say.
    free armani suits, all to make lying look good.

    The PM is very well suited and would never dress in something as awful as an Armani suit.
    He looks a Kilgour man to me. Bespoke, naturally. And I think he probably pays for them, too (possibly tax deductable).
    Also don't forget that after he retires in a couple of years, TB will have another 20 or 30 years ahead of him lecturing and giving "talks" in the US. This is *very* lucrative work. It's unlikely Mourhino, no matter how good he is, will have that kind of sustained earning / ego enhancing power over such a long period.

    He shops at Burtons and River Island.

    Jose is alot younger than Blur and its very possible that he could have another 20 yrs in the game, based £5.2 million a yr plus bonuses Id take his job over PM any day.

    The suits are clearly tailored. I doubt very much he gets these at Burtons (or if he does, they are not off the peg).
    One of the benefits of a Saville Row tailor is that they will "visit" and measure etc at your convenience.

    here's another sideline:
    I was once teasing a friend of mine who is a top-end barrister and a hardened socialist about the fact that in his pre-EEC fatcat days, N**l K***ck, whose top job was leader of the opp (c £45K then), wife was a teacher, no family money, had bought a £750K house - where'd the money come from...?
    It turns out that he, along with a lot of politicians, make a very, very healthy side income from a constant stream of lawsuits against libellers and slanderers (allegedly, m'lud), be it individuals or newspapers and magazines...

    Blair made quite a stand in the fashion stakes by favouring british designer Paul Smith, one of the tabloids made a big issue of the cost and the ladies in underware prints on the insides of his cuffs.

    Makes sense. The bespoke PS tailoring looks very good. They still look like a bit like Kilgour suits, though ;)
