Which is the best Van Damm cable for a pair of 7 m runs?
There is the blue coated studio version and the shotgun hi-fi cables of various diameter with transparent PVC. Any owners?

I use the 4mm blue, 11 m runs and do not feel any urge to 'upgrade'. The 2.5 would probably be fine, but the 4mm will be ideal I would think.

    Hi,

Try using generic FTP Cat 5 (or higher) trunk Cable (solid core copper conductirs) instead, fraction of the price and sounding about as much better as they are cheaper...

Use one wire of one pair as signal, the other seven as ground and connect the screen at the receiving end of the cable.

N-Joy (BTB, Network Cable too comes in many fancy colours).

    Ciao T

PS, listening (and watching) via Cat 5 FTP at my 2nd home right now, sounds and looks good....
