I think both sides of the (transport) arguement are true.

Its a pity they didn't run a skeleton service.

also a shame you didn't get to see your neice........could 'nt you use a taxi?

dear I know, but bite the bulllit for a one off occassion?

Hi Joseph, I hope that you've had a chance to chill a bit and you and Indra had a good Christmas.

As Dean and others have already said you can't blame Ken or even the Government for all the ills of the world, we as a society need to take the blame for it. I personally would like to turn the clock back a few years when Christmas was a family event rather than a commercial one, days before Sunday trading etc. Anyway, that's another thread.

Now, you see, if you had relied on public transport and left her where she was you would have been OK.:D.

It took me an hour to cycle to work yesterday, but I felt alright. Thanks God, it was quite warm yesterday and it's glorious cycling in the empty streets without the usual traffic jams. My mate usually drives 10 hours a day almost everyday for a living. I'm sure he appreciates a couple of days off during this season. Xmas is all about family and friends, let those drivers enjoy a bit of fresh air like we do.

    Best wishes for the season!

    Happy Christmas Everyone
    Let sleeping dogs lie.
Every one needs peace and tranquility this Christmas with a year of terrorism and pointless loss of innocent lives. Every one in this world is related no matter what colour creed or religion or atheist.
    peace and love John

I am not teasing anyone, but what is a 'Spanich Celtic'? And why would a Celtic Spaniard be less of a racist than, say, an Irish Celt?

Everything except the emergency services should close down for Christmas day, boxing day and new years day.
People are entitled to some guaranteed time to spend with their family or friends and it should not be beyond people's ability to plan for three days without access to Tesco, McDonalds or the bus service.

As for Ken, I think he's a pretty good Mayor and will vote for him a third time.

    racist

i personally think that race or religion should not be an issue merelly a personal choice to the individual, my point is that when others of different colours are quite happy to call us whites and ignore the fact that we also have nationalities and race,
for all it's worth have a nice new year.
