They should be perfect with my Sangreal in front, if you want to buy my Sonus Faber EAII, or the Signum, we could trade, with fair complementar payment to me... ;)

I read that thread, and many others, besides the usual British bashing Yankee, my guess is that ZUs probably work better in large, flimsy walls, American rooms, that in our traditional European smaller, solid walls, rooms...

As a "yankee bashing Brit", can you look here and tell me exactly why you might imagine they work better in American rooms?

Graphs, always graphs when you run out of words...

How about comparing the graphs of your beloved SETs with any shitty silicon amplifier...

Yep no problem Antonio. Actually I tend to use a push pull but the set is flat from 2hz to 45khz. Any more little queries or are you likely to be answering the question I posed?

Do you understand what those show? You see those graphs make it obvious to anyone with any knowledge just why your comment re the differing rooms is likely to be wide of the mark - so there's no need for a subjective argument about something so easily proven. Saves my time and yours.

Yes they aren't pretty - hence I suspect so many users tiring of them after the initial attraction. You will find that the dip in the upper mids will to some extent be compensated for by the ears' natural sensitivity in that area, but the bass is dire/non existant - even when corner loading.

When you have no answer it always comes down to childish personal insults. Ian was spot on. Witless I'm afraid.

As you like graphs, (when it is convenient), have you ever measured the response of your system in your room...

You did, so did I in Cascais, the graph looked lousy, even though the sound was quite good, (for my ears, before you start), so I "fixed" it with TMREQ, then the graph looked good, but the sound was bad...

So, as you said you did with your Tact, I also switched off EQ...

Maybe, just maybe, ZU rollercoaster response in an American room, fits the taste of the Yankees, I have seen a lot more strange claims, like no NFB SETs and horns sound good... :p

Graphs aren't all, though. I'd still have to give them a listen before passing judgement...
