Why is it when you offer to fix somthing for a girl they refuse and say its ok? When its often its a very simple thing, then you find the girl has gone and got some company to fix it. Argh its so annoying they undermine you so much.

I am so offended now. All it was is a simple fualt on a PC which is probably cuased by having to many TSR programs running at once.

Its her mums company that supposes to service it. However these are the same people that installed Windows XP on a Celeron 300 and when I said you need a better processor for that she would not beleive me.

I have xp pro running on a 450. I've not had any sort of crash since. I was crashin daily on ME!

as for the rest of your post.........

it appears you're a little MOre pissed off about this that one would expect. Were you hoping for a little action on top of sorting her pc? Perhaps she read this and wasn't interested so maybe took it that way. Also, if my mum had a company that fixed pcs........ i'd prob use them over a mate too :D

    Why so offended?

    Chill Winston!!!

Stuff her AT - if she won't accept help for something now, don't be there for her when it's something else. Women can be cruel like that and don't waste your time over her.

Sod it - if she wants to fork out money and/or waste her mum's company's time, let her - it's not your pidgeon. Be selfish :)

Like the others say, you can be over eager - I've learnt that one the hard way in my time...

How did I know that one would get picked up on? :) He he he...

And AT - believe - if you want to "stuff" her, don't do her any favours. Treat her mean and keep her keen. Being nice never gets you anywhere...

...well it hasn't me, anyway, except poorer emotionally and financially. I still don't seriously reckon they're worth the bother to be honest.

Thats the point the company dosn't fix pcs. Its a just a logistic company and her mother works in support adding data to databases and running virus checks. The I.T technitions there knows how to fix pcs.

I probably over reacted anyway. I've built so many PCs in my time I can now do it blind folded so it just offended as she I took as if she didn't trust me. I have used just about every PC operating system ever made, DOS 3.3, DOS 5.0, DOS 6.22, WIN 3.0, WIN 3.1, WIN95, WIN98, WIN9SE, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 server, Linux and OS/2.
