You are the biggest strirrer and perpetrator of arguments on the forum. I just chose not to refer to you by name. I have no issues with Ian, Joel, Robbo, or not even WM. I had issues with WM in the past, now that is over as the man himself will confirm. I am simply responding to an explanation given by Robbo.

Again, this is just your way of stirring-up trouble and if the likes of WM were to fall for that bait, then you've won. You do it to far too many people on the forum. Why the Moderators allow you to get away with it is anyone's guess. Your arrogance appears to have no limits. Grow-up Merlin or I'll set Branco on you.

You know what I mean - no need to explain.

No one is calling for 24/7 moderation. It is not possible. However, one or two egos on ZeroGain are much, much bigger than the forum can handle. If you can't see that, then there is nothing for me to explain as you requested above. The biggest instigator or wind-up merchant is Merlin. Has he ever being publicly warned even when he has made personal abuse against other forum members? Again, I understand it, as it is difficult to ban or suspend a friend you know fully well is a trouble-maker.

Others have made similar comments about the overly lax moderation. All I am doing is expanding on those points. Again, you boys are very selective as to whom you choose to negatively respond to. I guess it depends who is making the comment doesn't it.

Antonio, who, let's be honest here, amused just about everyone with his comments on the Rel thread. I did not see anyone springing to his defence and arguing his corner. And let's not forget I helped him select a number of items for his system prior to this.

And of course CJ. Never did like his opinions being questioned either - you know, Dac20 is all you need, two channel for 5.1 movies is as good as surround I thikn you will find I was not alone in taking issue with such "horse plops".

I don't know of anyone else who lost it. I am confrontational by nature Lawrie. If you want to debate with me then I am happy to enter into a debate. If I am proved wrong, I am happy to eat humble pie. Check out the vinyl thread from last year. Valves as well.

It appears to me that simply because my opinions are at odds with some, you feel I am winding them up. And yet they do not try to put forward a case for debate or argue their point. If they prove me wrong then I am happy to admit it.

As for you, I cannot remember you making a contribution that I have taken issue with. you make so few after all.

I would urge you to read my posts again because anyone with a slightest modicum of intellingence would see that my comments are neither a joke or a wind-up. I am stating opinions based on my observations and from personal experience. So, either come up with an intelligent response other than 'it's a wind-up' or just let it be.

As for you not wanting to explain, i thought as much. You cant justify your comment, yet another attempt to wind someone up. Sorry to tell you, but you are of little relevance to myself.

For once you acknowledge that I am entiltled to my opinions (which might be at odds with some) rather than you interpreting my opinions as signals to stir up trouble and then calling the boys to take up arms like you just did. This appears to be your tactic and harks back to schoolboy days and so far, you have been very successful in doing that. If you can recognise that your opinions can be at odds to some of the other forum members, why do you assume that every post I make is a wind-up or just sent-in to stir-up trouble and not simply my opinoins. Is it just a case of it takes one to know one?

Could it also be that your confrontational attitudes leads to you start or initiate arguments especially if you can't get your own way? That's what I see on the forum. The big ego thing perhaps. If you are as confrontational (or arrogant) as you say you are, then it would not surprise me if this also affects your professional or work life as well. We all remember the way you portrayed Branco (the distributor) on this forum as the bad guy (yes, he is also confrontational) but you failed to highlight the part you played in that and why he said what he said. The purpose of the bad propaganda on ZeroGain was to see his business fail - a highly unlikely event. Yes, I know and it won't happen so you can forget about that one. To make a joke is one thing, but you really would like to see his business fail or is it just envy?

So my suggestion to you is to regard my comments on the forum as my opinions, not deliberate wind-ups or stirring-up of arguments. Btw, if I don't post as much as you do or hang around the forum as much as you do, it is because I don't have as much free time on my hands as you appear to do. You are much more into swapping boxes than I am and I give you that, you've certainly listened to more components and systems than I've had hot dinners and I reckon that probably extends to many other people on the forum. However, it's no excuse for the arrogant and sometimes downright insulting behaviour (including personal abuse) that you level at some forum users (including myself). You may dislike what some posters represent on the forum but at the end of the day their opinions are just as valid as your's. When you've got some spare time, look up the definition of a forum just to give you an idea.
