    It's been a lovely weekend, and today the weather is great too...

    Why have I got the worst cold known to man that's keeping me from enjoying it?! :mad:

    That sucks.... but i've heard that viruses are more virulent on hot weather, dont know if thats true or not though.

    sorry to hear that Isaac, I hope you receove soon, in time to really enjoy this lovely weather. I feel the same way about work though, nice outside yet I'm stuck indoors, in a dark office.

    Its reasonable to expect that viruses and bacteria survive a lot better in the warm. If I get a cold its typically in the warm.
    I think if we are more susceptible to colds in the winter its because a lot of our bodily resources are taken trying to keep us warm.

    Just a guess I have no idea.

    does your office or car have a/c? it may be that you've caught something that's gestated whilst it's been switched off over crappier weather.
