I don't believe this - just been sniffing around some Pioneer Stable Platter CDPs on Ebay (I sold my PDS703 ages ago, and want another model to get "Tone-ised" so I'll have a real digital turntable again...

Anyway, I did my usual shiftie at Nakamichi tape decks, and yep, that CR1E with a buy-it-now of £199 (been on consistenly for OVER A YEAR!) is STILL there:
Rip Off Price - there's a CR2E going for less than half that on there right now.

This plank must be a thick one - as all the other stuff he's listed (if you go to the "view seller's other items") have been on there consistently for literally months and months as well.

I'd love to know what he's on 'cos it must cost him to keep relisting; he should wise up and ask a reasonable cost for the items surely???

Why don't you just ask him?

I'd not ask him 'cos it'd be rude (though I've been tempted!).

As for an offer, based on those prices he'd still want waaaaay over the odds and if I go Nak, a CR1E is too low rent for me - I want a DR10-standard machine at minimum really...

This won't surprise those who have studied the contents of my garage in various threads but I've got a Nak CR3. I paid £80 for it. Are these any good?

    I think so - is it a 2 or 3 header (can't remember)?

It's a three discreet head deck. I think I may join the Naks' Supporters Club.

Got to go to demo speakers. Later.
