Well my volco has a 24 way balanced stepped attenuator - total of 96 resistors and 4 inline at any time. I am using welwyn. It would cost about £400 to redo with vishay. Expensive but perhaps worth it?Redoing the rest of the diy kit with BG and vishay will cost £600 or so to put that into perspective. Have you tried black gate? What about alternatives to BG and vishay?
