WMA files

    I have an MP3 player that will play WMA files which I am lead to believe are sonically better than MP3. I have windows XP and need to know how to create WMAs from raw CD files.

    I wouldn't bother with WMA if I were you. Arguably a bit better than MP3 for lowish bit rates but at high bit rates there's nothing in it. Windows Media Player should be able to rip WMAs for you though if you insist.
